The Norwich Climate Commission aims to provide leadership in the city regarding climate change and sustainability, gain and support citizen engagement in a fair and inclusive way, encourage progress towards net zero carbon emissions and promote sustainable actions.

Why is this important?

The Council's fourth environmental strategy was published in 2020 and runs until 2025. The Commission will be independently helping the Council and citizens to achieve their aims of reducing the carbon footprint of Norwich and helping residents, business and visitors prepare for the impacts of climate change.
