Quest Giver: Rach Anstey-Sanders
Rach makes artwork and leads creative workshops that draw people’s attention to the natural world and our relationship with it. She loves talking to people about how to protect the environment and finding out how small changes we all make can have an impact.
Find Your Favourite Spot to Enjoy Nature
Nature has hidden treasures waiting for you to discover! Your task is to find the spot that feels most special to you, where you can enjoy nature. It could be in a garden, a park, or anywhere outside where you like to go. Take a moment to really look around and use your senses. What do you see, smell, touch, and hear?
Once you’ve found your spot, share it with your family or friends. You can do this in different ways. You could draw a map to show them where it is, use what3words to tell them the exact location, or create a treasure hunt with clues. You can also take a picture to show them what you found.
Why It’s Important
The more we appreciate the world around us, the easier it is to remember to look after it. Admiring the beauty of our local environment also improves our wellbeing. This is very important because when we are feeling good, we have more energy to help make the planet a better place to live.
